Cindy is an award-winning real estate broker with more than 14 years of experience, first with Koenig & Strey and now with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Koenig Rubloff Realty Group in Lincoln Park. BHHS Koenig Rubloff was founded in 2013 with the merger of Koenig & Strey and Prudential Rubloff, which were merged under the new national banner of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. She is consistently recognized as a top agent in the company, and has twice been awarded the President's Circle Award from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, recognizing her as one of the top 3% of BHHS agents nationwide. She has also been named a Top Producer by the Chicago Association of Realtors.
Her prior career in public relations and corporate communications prepared Cindy well for working in partnership with her clients. "I listen carefully to determine my clients' short-term needs and understand their long-term dreams. Recognizing and staying focused on their priorities throughout the transaction is the most important service I can offer. It's immensely rewarding to know that I've helped my clients find their dream home or transition to the next chapter in their lives." She has been praised by clients for her professionalism and expertise in both assisting buyers and for marketing her listings.
Originally from the East Coast, Cindy has lived in Chicago for nearly 30 years and is a resident of Lincoln Park. She graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Hollins University in Roanoke, VA. She also studied in London during college and was a Rotary International exchange student to Austria while in high school. An avid reader, some of her closest friends in Chicago are those she met through her book club that was founded in the late 1980s, when she moved here from Washington, DC. In the 1990s, she was a member of the Junior League of Chicago and participated in the league’s popular reading program for children in Chicago public libraries. Traveling to libraries in neighborhoods throughout the city proved to be an invaluable preparation for assisting buyers with their home searches. She has been active in many volunteer organizations, including Friends for the Cure, which raises funding for diabetes research at the University of Chicago Medicine Kovler Diabetes Center. When she's not touring homes with clients or showcasing a listing to prospective buyers, Cindy can usually be found on the tennis court, the ski slopes or walking on the lakefront. Her “happy place” is a beach on the Atlantic Ocean near her family’s home on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
